Next week if Respect for All Week. Throughout the week, city schools are celebrating the diversity of our student body while promoting respect and understanding. Next week, PS 205 will be celebrating with different spirit days and lessons. The theme this year is "Kindness over Bullies." We encourage your children to celebrate with us!
Monday: Super Hero Day. Wear your superhero gear!
Tuesday: PS 205 Spirit Day! Wear blue, yellow or PS 205 gear!
Wednesday: Celebrating Diversity Day- wear rainbows or anything that makes you fell special.
Thursday: Spreading Love and Kindness Day- wear pink or red
Friday: No one eats alone day!- Wear your pajamas and invite a new friend to join you at lunch!

Starting next Monday, February 2nd, we're launching our Family Library Hour every Monday afternoon from 2:20-3:20 PM.
📖 Want to explore new books? Need help with Sora or Beanstack? Or do you want to simply cuddle up and enjoy a fantastic story together? We've got you covered!
It's more than just a library visit -it's family bonding time with books! Please remember, parents must accompany their student in the library and remain with them during that time. Can't wait to see you there!

Monday, January 26, 2026 all NYCPS will be pivoting to remote instruction.
Please follow the directions sent by your child's classroom teacher to login for remote learning.
Attendance will be taken.
Our school day will begin at 8:00 AM.
Teachers will share the schedule of the day for each class.
Lunch Schedule:
Grades K, 5 Room 208, 410A: 10:45 AM
Grades Pre-K, 1, 3 Room 404: 11:40 AM
Grades 2 and 4: 12:35 PM

Hello PS 205 family,
Hello PS 205 family,
Unfortunately there has been an increase of electric bikes and scooters driving dangerously around PS 205 during arrival and dismissal.
As you know, no one should be riding any bicycle or scooter in the school yard for the safety of our students. However, the sidewalk around the outside of the school has also become dangerous.
Keep yourself and others safe by accelerating and braking carefully, staying off sidewalks, and following all traffic laws.
Stay off the sidewalk
Wear a helmet
Yield to pedestrians
Watch for turning vehicles
Watch for pedestrians
Please drive slowly in a school zone.
As a reminder, the exterior cameras on PS 205 are working and we will be monitoring this situation.
