Hello PS 205 family,

Unfortunately there has been an increase of electric bikes and scooters driving dangerously around PS 205 during arrival and dismissal.

As you know, no one should be riding any bicycle or scooter in the school yard for the safety of our students.  However, the sidewalk around the outside of the school has also become dangerous. 

Keep yourself and others safe by accelerating and braking carefully, staying off sidewalks, and following all traffic laws.

• Stay off the sidewalk

• Wear a helmet

• Yield to pedestrians

• Watch for turning vehicles

• Watch for pedestrians

Please drive slowly in a school zone. 

As a reminder, the exterior cameras on PS 205 are working and we will be monitoring this situation.
